At Turk Arabians we have been carefully selecting bloodlines known to produce athletic riding horses.  When the horse has the proper build, the job is much easier.  We insist that the individual phenotypically look like their pedigree says they should.

The horses on this sales list are very hard to part with.  They come from the many of the best Russian and Polish lines.  The Russian lines in particular are increasingly difficult to find, especially the rare mare lines.  They are being offered because I must watch my numbers as I move forward with my breeding.

Stallions

Palo0506_24aCorr_175crop

Palo Flechado: (*Nariadni x *Provodka) 1997 Chestnut. Palo is a rare offering on the market today.  He is a straight Russian stallion line bred to Nabeg through *Nariadni.  Phenotypically he is very similar to Nabeg, with a huge eye and extremely powerful body.  *Provodka, a Topol daughter, and a Nabeg granddaughter, is a beautiful example of what made the Russian Arabians so desirable.  She is a big beautiful athlete and all of her offspring are highly prepotent in these traits. Palo consistently sires foals that possess huge black eyes on a typey head with a powerful body and athleticism.  Like *Nariadni he is a carrier for SCID. [more Palo Flechado]

Avanyu_DSC_0122_small

Avanyu: (Arsenal CAHR x *Provodka) 2007 Bay Stallion.  This cross has been very successful, Avanyu’s full siblings have all been outstanding horses and have gone on to produce even better.  Beautiful head, neck, body, with incredible athleticism.  This young stallion has much to contribute to any breeding program.  SCID clear. [more Avanyu]

Prax_DSC_0704_thumb

Praxedes: (Arsenal CAHR x *Provodka) 2004 Black Bay Stallion.  Prax is a very special guy.  He is sweet and very attentive, he likes to be with his people.  Coming a long beautifully under saddle, Prax has also sired in his own image, pretty athletic sweet offspring. SCID clear. [more Praxedes]

Speck_DSC_0792_small

Prospecktor: (Arsenal CAHR x *Provodka) 2001 Bay Stallion.  Spec is a phenom.  He has a massive rearend in proportion to the rest of his body and so far he always sires it.  He is a ball to ride and shows unlimited physical talent.  Straight Russian in pedigree. SCID clear. [more Prospecktor]

Mares

Viveash#DSC_0327_175cropthumb

Viveash:  (Palo Flechado x *Vienna MBF)  2002 Chestnut Mare.  Viveash is a straight Russian mare that traces in sire line to Nabeg through Nariadni and in tail female line to Ptashka.  Viveash’s dam, *Vienna MBF, is a daughter of Menes, so she has another line to Nabeg and the Amurath Sahib sire line (in fact Vienna is a ¾ sister to the great Russian sire Balaton).  With this pedigree Viveash is extremely rare.  Temperamentally she is a sweetheart and is well started under saddle.  This is a very pretty mare with a big black eye and SOLID  body.  She is capable of producing better than herself.  Viveash is a carrier for SCID. [more Viveash]

Vizla:  (Arsenal CAHR x Viveash)  2008 Chestnut Mare.  I have had tremendous success crossing Arsenal with his Kann sire line and tremendous self carriage on mares of the Amurath Sahib sire line.  Vizla is a wonderful example of this cross.  These are outstanding mares with irreplaceably bloodlines.  This is an opportunity for the astute breeder to add a mare of impeccable breeding and athleticism to their program.  SCID clear.

Elektra_DSC_0732_CropCorr175thumb

Passions Elektra:  (*Emanor x Pewtere)  2004 Bay Mare.  Elektra a solid mare in every way.  Physically she is very powerful, and her build reflects her pedigree.  *Emanor needs no introduction, Polish and US National Champion stallion who’s trot took the halter world by storm.  Pewtere’s tail female line goes to Palba, a marvelous Arax daughter.  Pewtere’s tail male line goes to Priboj through Pietuszok.  Her sires grand dam is US National champion mare Arwistawa.  Elektra is not only very powerful and correct in build, but she has a very typey head, who could ask for more.  Started under saddle. SCID clear. [more Elektra]

Psitka_DSC_0208_smallthumb

Psitka:  (Arsenal CAHR x *Provodka)  2006 Bay Mare.  Psitka, same pedigree different sex.  *Provodka has been an incredible producer, here is her youngest daughter, a very correct and solid mare who looks a lot like her dam.  Another rare opportunity, a straight Russian mare with a fabulous tail female line. [more Psitka]

Vidal_DSC_0079_small

Viya Vidal:  (Arsenal CAHR  x *Vienna MBF)  2006 Chestnut Mare.  I call her Dolly, and she is a real doll, a very pretty head and a sweet, easy temperament.  But don’t miss her fabulous long fine neck, powerful body and dynamic trot.  Vidal really has it all right down to her tail female line to Ptashka through Vienna a ¾ sister to Balaton. [more Vidal]

Evora_DSC_0370_cropthumb

Evora Cita:  (*Emanor x *Vienna MBF)  2004 Bay Mare.  Truly a one of a kind mare in phenotype and genotype.  A daughter of Polish and US National Champion Stallion *Emanor out of a ¾ sister to Balaton, I think it is safe to say that there are no others like her.  Her beauty is as rare as her pedigree, refined and ethereal yet at the same time a big substantial mare.  The dam of Espejo de Aztlan she can produce as good as she is, or better.  She has a colt by Gazal Al Shaqab at side, extraordinary. [more Evora]

Geldings

Zapateo: (Palo Flechado x Pewtere) 2005 Grey Gelding.  Zapa is a very attractive big bodied gelding that is 15:1hh.  He is going well under saddle and is an easy going guy.  Dressage, Reining, Endurance, you name it. [more Zapateo]

Pascal_DSC_0101_small

Pascal:  (Arsenal CAHR x Pachamomma)  2008 Grey Gelding.  This young gelding is another solid correct Turk Arabian, with a ‘wants to get along’ temperament. [more Pascal]

Mars_IMG_0217_lowres_thumb

Man O’ Mars:  (Arsenal CAHR x Minuet) 2004 Grey Gelding.  My husband likes to call this athletic gelding ‘million miles Mars’ because when he is turned out he trots and trots and trots with a big grin on his face.  It is quite clear that he would happily take a rider as far as they desire to go down the trail.  He is a sensitive horse that will do best with an understanding rider, and then he will give his all.  Going nicely under saddle.

Plutonion: (Arsenal CAHR x Pewtere) 1998 Chestnut Gelding.  Pluto is an athlete.  He is solid, correct, with a ground eating trot.  In pedigree he is related to many of the best endurance horses currently competing.  This is a horse that could do anything, temperamentally he is very well suited to be a competitive endurance horse. [more Plutonion]
